Developed during the COVID-19 pandemic, these postcards are rooted in the idea that in a more disconnected world, there is a significance to a simple written note. With employees continuing to work at home through the pandemic, communications became even more impersonal. With the growing divide between electronic communications, introduction of more personalized interactions is need. Fueled by the post pandemic corporate climate, the concept is founded on the idea these post cards would be provided as to reach out and reconnect with coworkers you are no longer seeing face-to-face.
Vintage style, retro illustrations were developed to make the post cards inviting and approachable. Custom, playful imagery and copy is used on each of the cards to lighten the mood, at what was a dark time for many. The cheeky imagery is provided as a set, with ad-lib style fill in the blanks on the back. Designed as a complete set, these also include stamps with commentary, further reinforcing that more tangible connection between friends and colleagues. In addition to having distinct color palette, these each art printed on speckled stock and kraft paper to further separate it from standard mail and create a specialized note to keep.
